Club Christmas Dinner
Well the Clubs Christmas Dinner was well attended, and what an evening, everyone in their best tucker, good food and lots of enjoyable banter by everyone including the Christmas quiz with the wining team sharing their prize with everyone.
Again the club extends their thanks to Janet for once again doing a splendid job of putting this all in place and making sure that everything went smoothly.
David Hayward.
On the 29th of December we said good bye to one of our long outstanding member David Hayward, who sadly passed away in December.
His funeral was held at the crematorium in Luton, it was a lovely service which was well attended by his family, friends and members of the MG club.
The club put together a small collection of photographs from our archives from events that David had attended over the years for David’s Family.
Bob and Ingrid’s Wedding Reception
On the 29th December Bob and Ingrid held their wedding reception at the village hall at Greenfield. They very kindly invited members of the club to attend, it was a most enjoyable evening friendly atmosphere with exceptional food being provided by the hosts.
The club extends their thanks to Bob and Ingrid for sharing this event with the club members and we send congratulations again to them both.
Other News
Also Steve and Anna have tied the knot and have also invited club members to attend their wedding reception at the end of January, could those members who wish to attend please let Steve and Anna know because of catering requirements.
AGM
It’s coming up to our AGM which will be held at our February meeting, please attend if possible, also those of you whom are holding any of the club trophies could you please return them by this date, or at the AGM so we can find new homes for them.
