Hi This is my 1974 MGB GT in BL’s finest Tundra Green, very much a Marmite colour.
The car is a matching numbers engine and gear box, with a sympathetically modified interior, out went the BL PVC and in went a full leather interior, which I think doesn’t look out of place in a car of that period.
The Centre console and radio pod is also trimmed in leather along with the aftermarket under dash panel which covers up the wiper motor and tidies up that area nicely.
Engine wise the car remains stock the only slight change from original is the electronic ignition installed to make ongoing support easier.
Parabolic springs and gas shocks were added to the rear when the back end was refreshed which I think makes the ride less brutal and makes the modern roads more acceptable to ride on (pot holes and sleeping policemen were not so much of a feature on the roads in the 1970’s).
Due to the factory fit 14 inch wheels, the exhaust came a cropper and was replaced with a full stainless recently.
