LUTON AND DUNSTABLE MGOC NEWS LETTER July 2023

Hi Every One, hope that you are all enjoying the good weather that we have had

 This Month’s Events

Report for our Wednesday Wanderers

Report from Janet

“We decided not to do the longish drive to Grafham Water as the weather forecast looked a bit risky for a picnic.  Instead 18 members in 10 cars took Glyn’s rural route through the villages to Willington, east of Bedford.  Some members visited the huge ancient Dovecote first then we all met up at the Danish Camp on the River Ouse.  There was ample covered space for us to have lunch (although it did keep fine) and a good natter, and then some of us had a stroll along the towpath afterwards.  We were pleased that David and Tricia felt well enough to join us after being cooped up at home for quite a while.”

Club B.B.Q

The Club BBQ was a great success and celebrated Ingrid’s milestone birthday in good fashion. This was once again hosted by Ron and Jen at their home at Chalton. The Club extends their thanks to Ron and Jen for once again for making this a very enjoyable event,

A Thank You from Ingrid

Thank you so much for making my birthday so special at the club BBQ with the beautiful cake and very generous gift from all at the MG Club.  Thank you all again, very much appreciated.   I think I’ve just about sobered up.
Jen and Ron certainly did us proud with hosting the day, a lot of hard work put into preparing the occasion. THANK YOU
