LDMGOC St. Patrick’s Day Parade

The Club attended the Luton St Patrick’s Day Parade on the 17th of March.

This year the weather treated us all a little more kindly, with just a smattering of rain early on, rather than the down pour which greeted us last year.

Each car received a fine set of window flags and wing mirror covers, to complete the St Patrick’s day celebration look.

Many of the brave club members demonstrated their steely resolve by driving the whole way round the parade with the convertible top down.

We were joined by a number of other fabulous classic cars on the parade, ranging from Bentleys, Rolls Royce, BMW’s and a rather rare 240Z in left hand drive with a most impressive sound system.

With only one breakdown on the route, which hopefully will be a minor repair, we should have all members cars ready for the upcoming busy 2024 show season.

The attached Youtube video above (which belongs to the creator Be Proud of Luton) features all the cars in the parade, from time index 10:25.
